Vietnam Visa & Entry Requirements

Visitors from most countries will require an entry visa when traveling to Vietnam (except Russian, Thai, Malaysian, Filippino, Japanese, South Korean, Danish, Finlander, Norwegian, Swedish). Also, foreign travelers have to get the Vietnamese visa which remains valid upon arrival in Vietnam. All visitors must have a passport which is valid for at least one month after you come back home. To obtain it with the original passport, you should ask the Vietnamese Embassy or General Consulate based in your country or in the third country.

A visa on arrival service is available for travellers arriving by air ONLY (you pick up the visa at Hanoi/ Danang/ Hochiminh International Airports). Please read carefully the following instructions for visa application.
