Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Cruise to Can Tho (L, D)

This trip is started from Ho Chi Minh City and return to Ho Chi Minh City.In the morning you will be picked up right at the hotel by a private car and we depart Saigon at 7.00am to be on time for boarding our cruise package with Bassac Cruises. Our vehicle will arrive in Cai Be pier in Mekong Delta area at around 10.00am where the Bassac Cruises is waiting for us. We will be picked up to board the boat at around noon time. Once boarding the ship, you will be welcomed with a nice light drink and being introduced to the ship and crew and then will check into the cabins to start our cruise tour package in 3 days officially. Our boat will cruise toward Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River while the lunch is served. After lunch, it is optional for us can rest on the deck or enjoy the open bar.

Turning into Cho Lach canal in about 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards. The boat will stop for our visit to a village on the banks of Mang Thit River – an opportunity to experience and know about the life & the hospitality of local inhabitants here. Following by a visit more to the orchard or rice fields nearby and after that we will return our boat to enjoy a complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Resting on the deck of the boat to enjoy sunset while the crews is preparing the dinner. Enjoying the dinner while our ship is cruising on Mang Thit River. The Bassac is moored right downstream from the little Tra On Floating Market for staying overnight.

Day 2 Can Tho - Cruise to Long Xuyen (B, L, D)

Waking up to the sunrise and the breakfast is available from 06:30am while the ship is cruising through Tra On Floating Market to depart toward Can Tho. Our ship will arrive in Cai Rang Floating Market and we will move to a smaller local sampan for visiting around this floating market. After that, we will board back to our ship, another welcome drink is served and wait for our lunch while our ship is cruising upstream to the river.

After enjoying the lunch is the time we arrive in Thot Not. Once here, we will get on another smaller boat for a visit of a bamboo-knitting village near the Thot Not bird park, at the time the egrets return home from a day out. After the visit, we will board back to our ship. Enjoying a welcome drink and relax on the deck while waiting for the dinner is served then. Rest on the deck before the night. The Bassac drops anchor upstream of Long Xuyen for the night.

Day 3 Long Xuyen - Chau Doc - Back to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Waking up to the sunrise and the breakfast is available from 06:30am while our ship will continue cruise upstream the river toward Chau Doc. Upon arrival in Chau Doc at around noon, check-out and transfer onto a local boat for the visit of a village of the Muslim Cham minority. Lastly, we will check out the ship and our tour cruise is ended at Chau Doc port. Once here, our vehicle is waiting for picking up and transferring back to Saigon and drop at your hotel in quite late afternoon.
