Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is the most popular travel destination in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam.

Ha Long Bay has total area of 1,553 km2 with 1,969 islets, most of which are limestone. The area recognizing as the World Natural Heritage has the area of 434km2 with 775 islands.

On the bay, there are many soil islands, caves, beaches, beautiful landscapes that are conducive to the development of tourist attractions. The most attractive cave system is Thien Cung, Dau Go, Sung Sot, Trinh Nu, Tam Cung...


 


Bai Chay Beach

Bai Chay is a large and beautiful beach adjacent to Ha Long Bay, with more than 500 meters long and 100 meters wide sandy beach. Every day, in the early morning or late afternoon, thousands of people down here to swim, the beach becomes incredibly noisy.


The name Bai Chay (means Burning Beach) has many different stories. According to ancient legend, when the fleet carrying food for the Yuan-Mongolian invaders led by Truong Van Ho came there, the Vietnamese troops and locals under the leadership of Tran Khanh Du set fire to it. The whole fleet was engulfed in fire. Meanwhile, the northeast wind blew hard and further added fuel to it. Fire was so fierce it burned down the forest in the western side of Cua Luc. Hence the name Bai Chay.

Another legend said that the western side of Cua Luc used to be a wharf for seagoing boats. Barnacles firmly attached to these boats’ sides and underneath, and might wreck the boats. The local population had to use casuarinas leaves to burn acorn-barnacles. From Hon Gai and other neighboring places, people always see a blaze from there, so they called it Bai Chay.

Yen Tu Mountain

Yen Tu Mountain is the highest mountain in Dong Trieu mountain chain in the northeast Vietnam. The Mount is in Thuong Yen Commune, Uong Bi Town,QuangNinhProvince. Yen Tu Mountain is not only a natural landscape but also a relic preserved many historical monument. It is also called as "the Vietnam Buddhist land".

On top of the mountain is often covered with clouds so in the past, it is called Bach Van Son (that means the mountains covered with white clouds). Total length of the road to the top of Yen Tu (Bronze Pagoda) is approximately 6,000 meters with 6 hours of continuous walking through thousands of stone steps.

Journey to the Yen Tu Mount today is getting easier because of the cable car system 1 completed in 2002 and cable system 2 to Yen Tu peak area was put into operation from the 2008.

Tuan Chau Island

Tuan Chau Island is located in the southwest of Ha Long City. It covers an area of about 400ha with stunning natural conditions. With white sand beach stretching 6km, blue sea water running around 200 hectares of lush green pine forests, cool climate all year, Tuan Chau island is exactly an ideal place to build the high-end tourist resort.


In addition to the natural beauty and magical charm,Tuan Chau Islandis the archaeological study of the Ha Long culture in the post Neolithic period with lots of stone tools found as table grinders, ice ax, stripping pieces, pottery...

Co To Island

Co To Island fascinates visitors by pristine beaches with white sand and blue water. Cua Van Fishing Village

Located in the heart of Halong Bay, (Hung Thang Ward) has become a tourist attraction for local and foreign tourists for many years.

Cua Van fishing village is originated from two ancient fishing villages Giang Vong and Truc Vong, along with the island, became a component of Ha Long Bay, now located in Hung Thang Ward (Ha Long city). Cua Van fishing village is now home to 176 households, with more than 750 inhabitants, mostly living by fishing.


Coming to Cua Van fishing village, visitors will not only be immersed in a quiet, tranquility and charming space, study the cultural life of fishermen, but also be guided to sightsee, to sailing, to net fish... by the rural fishing village women.
